Please note this is a reduced timetable as I’m practicing the yoga of motherhood with my (fairly) recent arrival – more classes will be added over the next year – if you want to be informed of these as they are launched please connect on Facebook and / or sign up to the mailing list.

There is parking at the venue but if there are things on in other rooms it may be full, in which case there is plenty of parking along Southey Road.
DAYTIME CLASSES – 10-11am SUMMERTIME (day TBC) – weather permitting – Steamer Point, Avon Beach!
Please ensure I know you are coming and have your mobile number to confirm venue – if the weather is looking OK (which means dry and not windy, doesn’t have to be sunny!) we’ll be by the beach & I message everyone to confirm on the day!

ABOUT FLOW YOGA:
Flow Yoga is based on traditional Hatha yoga, with some flowing ‘vinyasa style’ sequences of poses, we wind down towards the end of the class and always end on 5 mins or so of pure, blissful relaxation in shavasana – all the more relaxing after moving your body! The physical poses build strength, stamina, core strength and release tight areas for optimal posture and alignment. We do not ever force poses, there are always options if a pose doesn’t feel good for you, and the real lesson is being able to connect with and honour your body.
The class is open to all levels as there are modifications to suit different needs, but if this style of yoga is not for you I can help you find a class more suited to your needs so chat to me anyway!
Yoga perfectly complements more intense training and is the perfect way to recover from your sports – we have windsurfers, canoeists, surfers, cyclists and more all coming for their dose of yoga!
It is also recommended for all Perfect Fit for Life Personal Training Clients (who will be using kettlebells, the TRX, Valslides, bodyweight & resistance training according to their unique goals and needs).
Yoga provides another way to build strength and ‘tone up’ whilst also providing a way to recover from training and address any tight areas. This means you get even more out of your training sessions!
But yoga is not purely a physical endeavour. While this is a relatively physical class, the physical poses are a way to achieve peace, mindfulness and connect movement and breath. We don’t do a
lot of chanting in this class, but we do always end with the very important shavasana and a short meditation. The entire class is designed to be a moving meditation – when you first start there is a lot to take in, but as you grow used to the flow and the poses you will find that you begin to notice this being possible!
I also offer lunchtime corporate yoga classes – these can be express 30 minute sessions that will boost mood, energy and productivity! If you would like to discuss the options or want me to speak to someone at your company please get in touch.
Please bring a yoga mat (I have some & I can lend you one, if you need one let me know but I do recommend having your own for 2 reasons – its nicer than being face down where someone else’s feet / sweat have been and it means you may practice some poses in between classes at home!).
